DENMARK: NORDEN BOOSTED PROFIT

Article Abstract:

Real estate company Norden boosted its profits for the first half year 2000 by DKr79 mn (US$9 mn). This is an improvement by 35% compared to the same period 1999. The improvement is said to be a result of year long period of investments in properties totalling DKr 1.1 bn. Estimates for the whole year point at a DKr255 mn result.

DENMARK: THORAX TO BECOME REAL ESTATE COMPANY

DENMARK: HOUSING PRICES UP

Article Abstract:

A survey conducted by Danske Bank on behalf of the Danish daily Borsen predicts that housing prices will rise by an average of 5% by the end of this year. The biggest increases will be recorded in the Copenhagen area and in other major cities.
