DENMARK: DEBITEL TO LAUNCH COMBINED TELEPHONY

Article Abstract:

In October, the Danish mobile phone operator Debitel, which now also has entered the fixed telephony market, will launch a product which combines mobile and fixed telephony. The main target group will be the company's 140,000 mobile telephony subscribers. Tele Danmark and Sonofon have already launched similar services, called "Duet" and "Duofonen" respectively. Tele Danmark has about 200,000 subscribers to its service, whereas Sonofon only has about 2,000.

DENMARK: SONOFON TO LAUNCH NEW SERVICES

Article Abstract:

Sonofon, the Danish telephony operator, will launch several new services this autumn. The company will increase the targetting of minor businesses and private mobile phone clients. This may include services such as "spare time subscriptions", says Jorgen Lindegaard, MD of GN Store Nord. Moreover, Sonofon will launch high-speed data communication services, mainly for corporate use, this autumn.
