Danfoss is to trim downwards its forecast for growth in sales for 2001 from the previous 10% to 6%. This would mean that its sales would reach DKr0.9bn (US$109mn) in 2001. Danfoss finance manager Ole Steen Andersen ascribes the reduced growth forecast at Danfoss to the weakening of the North American and Asian markets.
