Danish Danfoss Drives A/S has acquired IWT Power Electronics GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, Germany, as part of the company's efforts to acquire global product development facilities. IWT Power Electronics develops mobile frequency converters the main field being the production of low-power drives that are used in forklift trucks for example.

DENMARK: IPH ACQUIRED BY DANFOSS

Article Abstract:

The Danish company IPH Marine Automation has been acquired by the Danish group Danfoss. The acquired company will be merged with Danfoss System Hydraulik into Danfoss Marine Systems, which will get 230 employees. Danfoss Marine Systems will be a supplier of complete systems for the management of ship tanks.

DENMARK: DANFOSS SELLS OFF ACTIVITIES

The Danish industrial group Danfoss has sold off the so-called vision systems department to the Danish company Thoustrup & Overgaard, which is specialized in this field. The acquisition includes the so-called QueCheck products, which are used for control and classification of materials in the industry.
