Mid-market takeover deals dominate the cross-border statistics, according to an article sponsored by Close Brothers Corporate Finance. In the 15 months to 11/01, there were 199 public cross-border deals by UK, US, German and French firms whose quarry were either in western Europe or in the U.S.
