Germany's fourth largest bank Commerzbank AG, has unveiled its strategy to expand by developing joint venture deals with other European companies. Commerzbank has opened negotiations with Spain's Banco Santander Central Hispano, France's Credit Lyonnais and Italy's insurance giant Assicurazioni Generali.

EDF holds rights to boost stake in Montedison
