AI researchers sought to design devices that could mimic the human brain, while AA inventors aimed for software that could perform simple, useful tasks.

Article Abstract:

Information technology is improving banks' lending performance and making obtaining a loan easier for customers. Barclay's Bank implemented Lending Advisor software, which standardized risk-grading and made loans less vulnerable to a chain of human attitudes.
