Cause for concern

Article Abstract:

The Philippines' persistent budget deficits are a serious cause for concern. The Philippine officials have skillfully replaced short-term debt with long-term maturities to keep the external debts under control, but it is stated that if the GDP growth slows and the deficit widens the Philippines may end up facing a financial crisis.
