Cochin Refineries Ltd (CRL) has posted 12 percent rise in turnover to Rs4,374 crore in 1997-98. It has posted a net profit of Rs220.41 crore and a profit before tax of Rs291.91 crore during the year. It has recommended a dividend of 32 percent (28 percent in 1996-97). It has paid a dividend of Rs12.14 crore to the Indian government. (gs)
