Bubble trouble: China's economy

Article Abstract:

Chinese financial services stocks have been soaring while actual goods services have been starving for cash, creating unhealthy bubble int the economy. Unnaturally high bank interest rates and state-owned manufacturers that produce goods beyond demand at a loss compound the problem.

How now Hong Kong? The threat from China is not what it seems

Article Abstract:

Hong Kong's future as a financial center is expected to be healthy, due in part to its reunification with China. Hong Kong will need to stand in for China's banking industry for some time as it is just beginning. China is building a financial center in Shanghai, as well.
