Article Abstract:

Statistics indicate that, on average, black immigrants from the Caribbean and from Africa proper enjoy a higher standard of living in the US than native-born African Americans. One reason for this is that immigrants have more two-parent, two-income families than native African Americans.

While the black middle class has grown 46% the past two decades, the underclass is at least as, if not more, marginalized than it has ever been. Blacks are isolated more than any other minority, and more of them are starting to espouse a policy of separatism.
