Behind the throne

Article Abstract:

They are generally more interested in political contacts than they are in developing new markets, services and products. They tend to be opportunists with short-term views and have little understanding of balance sheets, let alone capital markets. They may have hopes of becoming international entrepreneurs, but these hopes have been quashed by the Russian financial crisis.
