Article Abstract:

A report on the current prevalence of HIV/Aids in Asia is presented. The study indicates that the disease has assumed epidemic level with more than 7 million people infected in the Asia-Pacific region. Drug use, prostitution and government's complacency is considered as the main contributing factors.

The life and achievements of Ta-Lin Hsu, founder and chairman of H&Q Asia Pacific are discussed. In 1980, H&Q ventured the capital assisting many small Taiwanese companies to grow. His present project is to assist the top-tier Japanese companies to move into cheaper Asian destinations.
