Article Abstract:

Objections to research on pregnant women in Africa with HIV who will not be given drugs to help their unborn fetuses are understandable, but wrong. People in Africa would not be able to have the drugs anyway because they are too expensive, and such research is necessary to stop more cases of AIDS.
