A deal breaker: North Korea

Article Abstract:

The unfulfillment of a political agreement set between North Korea and the US over nuclear weapons issues will lead North Korea to renege on the agreement, and activate its nuclear program. The deal is less likely to be completed because of political wrangling and financing problems.

Article Abstract:

North Korea has promised to suspend it nuclear program in exchange for a $4 billion US deal for two light-water nuclear reactors. North and South Korea are not on speaking terms, and Kim is reluctant to allow South Korea to build the two reactors.
