Intertribal fighting has killed some 2,000 people in Kenya. Pres Daniel T arap Moi issued a ban of all political meetings on Mar 20, 1992. Opposition party Forum for the Restoration of Democracy called a general strike that ended after several days.

Warfare erupts in Croatia, shattering three-year truce

War again erupted in Croatia after over three years of peace when Croatian forces attacked a Serb stronghold in Krajina. Croatian Serbs retaliated by shelling Zagreb. The fighting occurred as another ceasefire expired in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Battle erupts in capital

Article Abstract:

Fighting broke out Oct 30, 1992, in Luanda, Angola, between the government and forces of the Union for the Total Independence of Angola. The fighting lasted for three days during which time at least 1,000 people were killed.
