Statistics of some of the companies in the thrift industry and their securities rankings as of April 22, 2005 are furnished. Though the prospects of thrift industry are appealing for long term investors, in short-term the industry will be able to stabilize only if the Federal Reserve stops hiking interest rates, which is unlikely.
