Statistics always link population growth with strong business growth and since 1999 Victoria, Australia has enjoyed an impressive average economic growth rate of 4.8% a year, almost a full percentage point ahead of the national average growth rate of 3.9%. The strong job market attracts interstate and international migrants and Victoria is the world's most livable city.

Why pay for no results?

Article Abstract:

It is evident that the chief executive pay rates, which are not related to performance, are increasing at a much faster rate than the general pay levels. It is suggested that for the chief executive assessment, a long-term pay related to a long-term performance is needed, which is much harder to assess and to calculate.
