The influence of organizational demography on the external networking behavior of teams

Article Abstract:

A multilevel model of external team networking is proposed drawing an embedded intergroup relations theory and social identity theory. The propositions outlined examines the joint effects of organizational demography and team composition on specific sociometric properties of a team's external networks with reference to the growing diversity of the US workplace.

Shared and configural justice: A social network model of justice in teams

Article Abstract:

A model of justice in teams that articulates the social influence processes through which shared perceptions of justice emerge is proposed and that explores the subsequent effects on team effectiveness outcomes. Barriers to the emergence of shared team justice are considered and configural forms of justice that may result are introduced.
