The Starbucks effect

Article Abstract:

The Starbucks effect happens everyday, as it is the hallmark of the global economy, that is, the continuous emergence of new competitors with superior business models that force one to reconsider the viability of what they have always done and it would only grow more intense. However, thousands of French students who had protested against the proposed law of letting employers fire workers, saw the Starbucks effect, and took a stand that they do not like the American way of life, working all the time, rushing around and always looking for more.
