Business enterprises are waking to the fact that the new rules being framed by the Australian government to curtail money laundering by criminals and terrorists are expensive to implement. The implications of this new bill for directors and companies are discussed. The provisions in the new anti-money-laundering bill are in accordance with the stipulations by the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering, an international agency that is formed to stop money laundering.

He claimed that he did not know anything about the way business was conducted in Australia and despite the country having a reputation of being a difficult market he seems to be enjoying his stint in the country.
