Author F. Scott Fitzgerald was born in St. Paul, MN, on Sep 24, 1896 and he spent his youth in the city. He returned to the city in 1919, after leaving Princeton and enlisting in the Army for service in World War I, and finished writing a novel. The 100th anniversary of his birth will be commemorated.
