Italy's Chamber of Deputies voted 315-303 on Mar 16, 1995, to approve Premier Dini's budget package. The budget calls for tax increases and spending cuts to help reduce Italy's deficit from 10% of GDP to 8%. Former Premier Silvio Berlusconi opposed the budget.
