Kearney reached its 40% increase in budget within the first six months of 1998. McKinsey and Co. finds itself needing more consultants to meet demands for planning future strategies. Law firms are doing brisk business in both mergers and insolvency restructuring as industry changes weed out those businesses that cannot overcome debt.
