Internationalization and the dynamics of product adaptationuan empirical investigation
Article Abstract:
Standardized policy refers to companies making no changes to physical product and packaging in foreign markets in order to keep up the competition as well as keep costs low. This, at times leads to consumers disliking of the product. For the purpose of keeping abreast with the consumer likes, firms repackage and make changes to the physical characteristics of the product. A theoretical model examining the latter issue, is presented.
