How to bridge the gap between buyer and seller

Article Abstract:

The buy-out of a minority stockholder who owned a third of a company worth $1.8 million is presented. Many factors have to be considered in negotiating these sort of agreements. All forms of payments to the seller must be considered. Savings from the buy-out should be deducted from the total cost of the buy-out. A present value rate should be applied to the payments to the seller after deciding on the initial offer to the seller.
