Article Abstract:

The increase in demand for hard coking coal by steel producers has led to an increase in production for Fording Canadian Coal Trust. A comparative analysis of the company sales and the financial details from 2001 to 2003 are illustrated. Projections of the annual total returns, revenues and asset position of the company for the period 2007-09 are made using Value Line estimates.
