The Commerce Dept reported that corporate after-tax profits increased from $337.9 billion in 4th qtr 1994, to $350.7 billion in 1st qtr 1995, a 3.8% increase. The Wall Street Journal reported that the net income of 674 major firms rose 48% over 1st qtr 1994. Scores of earnings reports are given.

The Wall Street Journal's survey of 711 major corporations revealed that aggregate net income was $63.25 billion in 3rd qtr 1995, an increase of 5% over 3rd qtr 1994. After-tax profits rose 9% during the same time period. Scores of individual firm's profits are reported.
