FINANCING POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS HAS BECOME MORE COMPLICATED AS A RESULT OF FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN LAWS AND THE DISCLOSURE OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS AND SPENDING NOW REQUIRED. MANAGING THOSE FUNDS HAS BECOME MORE IMPORTANT ALMOST THAN SPEECH WRITING. POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEES ARE ALSO A NEWCOMER ON THE POLITICAL SCENE AND ANOTHER SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR THE CANDIDATE.
