Article Abstract:
Dell Computer Corp.'s second-quarter profit rose 47%, with revenue rising 42% to $6.14 billion. In a market of diving prices for personal computers, Dell's selling price fell only 8%. Chairman Michael S. Dell partially credits the profit from the company's expanding Internet sales. And the demand for PC's is still very strong.
