Current cost accounting: the rudiments of current cost accounting wisdom

Article Abstract:

Current cost accounting can be an effective device. It is currently viewed with suspicion by many companies, however, who believe it is overly subject to perceptions and therefore empirically unreliable. However, several key British industries, especially nationalized ones, use the system regularly and with success. The reason that current cost accounting appeals to so few companies is probably because many approached it with unrealistic expectations.

Industrial democracy, has it a future: the West European experience

Article Abstract:

Western Europe seem to be evolving towards some system of industrial democracy. Its development seems to be inversely related to business cycles. Critics assume that some companies cannot effectively compete, but with management similar to the capitalist norm such does not seem to be the case.
