Computer software & services

Article Abstract:

Sales and profits for the computer software and services industries are expected to advance, although many businesses may withhold purchases while dealing with the Year 2000 transition. High wages and employment, along with the strong US economic growth, give these industries a good future, and demand for these products and services are expected to grow in the early years of the next century. Investors should find many stocks that will outperform the market for the next three to five years, although there could be some volatility.

These stocks are expected to perform well in 1999 and the year 2000, and many have appreciation potential for the next three to five years.
