Christopher Archer, Kevin Scherzer, Kyle Scherzer and Bryant Grober Mar 16, 1993, were found guilty in a Newark, NJ, court of various sexual assault charges stemming from the rape of a then-17-year-old woman who was mentally retarded.

U.S. servicemen admit to Okinawa rape

Marcus D. Gill, Kendrick M. Ledet and Rodrico Harp pleaded guilty to abducting a 12-year-old girl in Okinawa. Gill admitted to raping her, but the other two defendants did not. The incident strained US-Japanese relations.

Supreme Court issues abortion ruling

Article Abstract:

The Irish Supreme Court has allowed a 14-year-old girl to obtain an abortion in the UK. The threat to the life of the girl, who had been raped, was considered greater than the rights of the fetus.
