New tax rules, three provisions in particular, will mean benefit for business owners in the US. Section 179 deduction limits have been raised by $75,000, the first year bonus write-off for capital expenditures has been increased from 30 to 50%, and long-term capital gains tax rates have been reduced by 5%.
