Article Abstract:
Nuptial feeding involves forms of nutrient transfer from male to female during courtship and or copulation. There has been much debate over the current function of nuptial feeding in insects, focusing on the issue of whether nuptial gifts are a paternal investment or a mating effort. Evidence is now presented for the potential nuptial gifts to operate as either paternal investment, mating effort, or both.

Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to synthesize information on the responses of insects and allied groups to increasing altitude, which would provide a platform for future research. Insect species experience significant changes in environmental conditions along elevational gradients, particularly temperature, radiation input (including UV-B), precipitation, oxygen availability and wind turbulence.

Article Abstract:
Research describing the evolution of mate choice by male insects is presented. Empirical evidence on male mating preferences and sex role reversal is analysed and the extent of sexual selection based on female phenotypes is studied.
