Article Abstract:

Erogonomical research based on day -to-day activities in a typical cellular biology laboratory is described. Musculoskeletal disorders or repetitive strain injuries is thought to be due to excessive use of pipettes and other common tools and a study reveals that the risk associated with excessive use of pipette not only depends on the ergonomics of the pipettes and other tools but also on factors such as individual's characteristics, work rhythm, postural constraints and environmental conditions.
