Article Abstract:
Parthenogenetic aphids of the genus Trama (Aphididae: Lachninae) are discussed relative to high diversity in structurally heterozygous karyotypes and rDNA arrays. New data is given for four species of Trama and two Protrama species. Levels of karyotypic diversity like those in T. troglodytes were found in two other Trama species. The diversity goes along with variation in number and distribution of rDNA arrays in the three species. Differences in the molecular level are considered.

Article Abstract:
Genetically based trait variation in host plant response occurs in a monophyletic parthenogenetic group of Sitobion miscanthi aphids of Australia. Genetic control of mean relative growth rate (MRGR) was shown in a study of five aphid forms, including four races of S. miscanthi and S. near fragariae, using 15 replicate aphids per clone on three host plants.

Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on cabbage aphid Brevicoryne brassicae L. The authors have investigated genetic structure of this species among and within localities from Mexico, and have suggested that genetic differentiation is a function of a biotic factor and the host plant.
