Heritable activity: a prion that propagates by covalent autoactivation
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on infectious proteins prions. The authors demonstrate that yeast protease B is a prion, which is infectious and reversibly curable, and which is induced via pro-protease overexpression.

Control of cell number by Drosophila FOXO: downstream and feedback regulation of the insulin receptor pathway
Article Abstract:
The authors have investigated Drosophila FOXO forkhead-related transcription factor, a component of insulin signaling cascade. The authors discuss the identification and functional characterization of dFOXO.

A Serrate-expressing signaling center controls Drosophila hematopoiesis
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Notch signaling. The authors demonstrate that localized Notch signaling causes early distinction between the crystal cell and plasmatocyte cell.
