Article Abstract:
A morphological study of hair using a transverse section and shape index derived from computerized image processing is presented. The morphological variation might reflect genetic distance and this reliable, quick, and cheap method can be used in other existing anthropological material for which DNA analysis is usually difficult.

Article Abstract:
Studies on dental arch form, craniofacial morphology and bite force of Fijians were conducted in 1994 and 1995. The results of these studies were compared with Japanese populations. The study indicated that masticatory muscles and craniofacial morphologies were better integrated in Fijians than in Japanese.

Craniofacial characteristics of specimens from the mid-19th century and the 1970s were examined to determine changes in morphology. Results indicate vault height increase and lengthening and narrowing of face.
