Genome-wide expression dynamics during mouse embryonic development reveal similarities to Drosophila development
Article Abstract:
Mouse and Drosophila models are used to compare gene expression profiles regarding organ differentiation, including skin, liver, nervous system, and digestive system. Similar patterns emerge, indicating conservation of the temporal progression of gene expression processes; implications for future research are discussed.

A new Drosophila gene wh (wuho) with WD40 repeats is essential for spermatogenesis and has maximal expression in hub cells
Article Abstract:
The role of Drosophila gene wuho(wh), which is highly expressed in hub cells, in germline cell differentiation during spermatogenesis, is analyzed.
