Genetic population history relationships of the population of Bogota, Colombia, by using the D1S80, VWA, and TH01 molecular markers

Article Abstract:

This article compares the genetic relationship between populations from Bogota, Colombia to European, American and Asian populations. Results show genetic links with Europeans with several contributions from Amerindians more than from Africans and Asians in the D1S80 and TH01 markers, but more contributions from African populations were noted when using the VWA markers.
