Article Abstract:
Genetic differentiation has been carried out in Anopheles gambiae in Nigeria and results suggest that gene flow is limited by selection. Geographical distance does not seem to limit gene flow. For all loci, the largest estimates of differentiation were seen between savanna locations and forest locations. Chromosome II, frequencies of which varied from north to south, were the source of all the differentiation, virtually.
