Genetic differentiation and habitat preference of flowering-time variants within Gymnadenia conopsea

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on early- and late-flowering variants of plants belonging to Gymnadenia conopsea ssp conopsea. The authors have investigated genetic divergence and habitat differentiation between these variants via the use of fast-evolving microsatellites, slowly evolving ITS markers and habitat analysis.

A multiyear estimate of the effective pollen donor pool for Albizia julibrissin

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on pollen movement in plant populations. The authors have investigated male gametic variability over the years for the individual trees, and they report that yearly variation in the global pollen pool is zero.
