Genetic differentiation among populations of Sesleria albicans Kit. ex Schultes (Poaceae) from ecologically different habitats in central Europe

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on populations from habitats which differ from each other. The authors describe the use of random amplified polymorphic DNA and molecular variance technique analyses in testing the hypothesis of the existence of genetic differentiation among such populations from different habitats.

Absence of geographical structure of chloroplast DNA variation in sallow, Salix caprea L

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on chloroplast DNA variation in different populations of Salix caprea L. The authors describe the use of PCR-RFLP markers in investigating these variations, and they suggest that hybridization and gene flow have occured within the populations and not between them.
