Genetic and environmental influences on infant weight and weight change: the Fels longitudinal study
Article Abstract:
A study is done on genetic and nongenetic contributions to body and body weight change during infancy and relationships between weight change and adult body composition. Result showed infant weight and weight change have a strong familial basis even after considering important perinatal factors.

Adverse environments: investigating local variation in child growth
Article Abstract:
The adverse effects of environment causing local variation in child growth are investigated. Result show an unhealthy pattern of growth is seen in children living in socioeconomically disadvantaged places.
