Genetic Structure of Asian Populations of Bombus ignitus (Hymenoptera: Apidae)

Article Abstract:

Microsatellite tests and cytochrome b sequences indicate that nearly all Bombus ignitus bumblebee populations on Asia's mainland and islands experienced recent bottlenecks, which, along with geographic isolation, account for genetic divergences.

Genetic Diversity Within and Among Four South European Native Horse Breeds Based on Microsatellite DNA Analysis: Implications for Conservation

Article Abstract:

Four Basque-Navarrese native, semiferal horse breeds were studied for genetic differentiation and diversity. Data on heterozygosity, phylogeny, and admixture are presented; findings show that the breeds are closest to three French breeds.
