Article Abstract:
Several studies have been conducted on Drosophila polytene chromosomes to gain a better insight on the nature of genes and eukaryotic chromosome organization. Despite extensive research, there has been no definitive conclusion about chromosomal structure and arrangement as well as the relationship between genes and interchromomeres and chromomeres. It is clear from an analysis of various studies that the three-dimensional structure certainly exists in the one-dimensional nucleotide sequence but no explanation about band/interband boundary junctions has yet emerged.

Article Abstract:
The additive epistasis and dominant epistasis genetic variations in development time are increased at extremes of environmental conditions. The breaking of the epistasis gene complexes in the parental lines is followed by hybrid breakdown in vigorous development. Different epistasis gene complexes are obtained from the association of genetic drift and natural selection which are chosen after about 70 generations. Experimental lines from Drosophila melanogaster are crossed to investigate the expression of genetic variations with the environment.

Article Abstract:
A study analyzed the four-cutter polymorphism of Adh and P6 and chromosome inversion polymorphism of chromosome II in 95 isogenic lines of an Ivory Coast population of Drosophila melanogaster, a species that is presumed to have spread throughout the world from a West African source. The P6 exhibited connection disequilibrium with In(2L)t inversion through it is found inside this inversion, hinting that the inversion and the P6 locus have traded genetic information through double crossover or gene conversion.
