Article Abstract:
Gene flow and mode of pollination have been studied in a dry-grassland species, Filipendula vulgaris (Rosaceae), using isozyme elecrophoresis. Small populations were found to have significantly fewer polymorphic loci than larger populations. All populations had the same common allelic variations. Isolation degree of a given population did not affect genetic variation degree.

Article Abstract:
Results demonstrate that morphological variation among honey bees exhibits both geographical and phylogenetic effects for body size, wing venation angles, and color. Data further show that individual traits are more related to either geographical or phylogenetic dimension of variation.

Article Abstract:
The patterns of population differentiation in Spiranthes romanzoffiana are compared with the study of orchids. This comparison reveals that orchids show either higher or lower levels of population differentiation than other plant families.
