Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on antimicrobial protein enterolysin A. The authors have purified this protein from Enterococcus faecalis LMG 2333 culture, and have demonstrated that the N-terminal part of this enetrolysin is linked by a threonin-proline-rich region to a putative C-terminal recognition domain showing sequence identity to bacteriophage lysins.

Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on lactococcal prolate phages. The authors have investigated these phages, and have reported that the phages are functionally analogous, and that in the absence of phage proteins lactococcal prolate phages serve as replication origins in the plasmid model system.

Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine the effects of bovine bile (BB) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) on Enterococcus faecalis V583 by traditional growth studies of microarray. Findings indicate the involvement of different mechanisms in detergent resistance in Enterococcus faecalis.
