Article Abstract:
A research is conducted to test the relative ability of body size factors and sex to explain variation in nose volume and metabolic measures during rest and moderate exercise in 50 young adults. This study uses standard anthropometric measures plus two new measures of nose morphology and evaluates body composition with a device for air displacement plethysmography.

Article Abstract:
Analysis of male and female data from the 1988 United States Army anthropometric survey offers new insights to the 1955 study that reported correlations between physical characteristics and climate in a white male United States Army sample. The individual data indicated that neither white male nor white female samples showed morphology to climate correlations.

Article Abstract:
Body fat density is measured in male and female distance runners. Conclusions indicate density in the athletes does not differ significantly from control group and densitometry is a valid measurement technique.
